Gardeners, collectors and anyone who's ever impulse-bought a fern — your weekend is sorted. The Yarra Valley Plant Fair & Garden Expo returns to the Romantic Nursery in Wandin on 17–18 April 2026, bringing together more than 40 specialist stallholders and over 5,000 plant varieties in one glorious green gathering.

This isn’t your average weekend market with a few punnets of herbs. The Yarra Valley Plant Fair is a proper expo, with stallholders who specialise in everything from rare native plants and exotic species to succulents, herbs, ornamentals, and hard-to-find collector varieties. If it grows in a pot, there’s a good chance someone’s selling it here.
Daily talks by garden experts run throughout the weekend, covering topics from soil health to design tips — perfect whether you’re a first-time gardener or a seasoned green thumb looking for fresh ideas. Garden accessories and tools round out the offering.
The fair runs twice a year (autumn and spring) and has grown from a small local plant sale into one of the region’s premier gardening events, attracting thousands of visitors to the beautiful Wandin property.
