Warburton Rail Trail
The legendary rail trail runs right past The Alpine. Perfect for families and e-bikers – 40 km of flat, sealed path winding through the Yarra Valley alongside the river. Rent a bike, grab a coffee, ride all day.
Warburton Mountain Bike Park
Just a short ride from The Alpine, the bike park delivers everything from flow trails and jumps to technical descents. Purpose-built, well-maintained, and absolutely addictive. From greens to blacks – there's a line for everyone.
O'Shannassy Aqueduct Trail
A hidden gem following a 19th-century aqueduct through lush rainforest and mountain ash. Mostly flat with stunning creek crossings and fern gullies. Peaceful, immersive, and utterly beautiful.
Mt Donna Buang Descent

Flow trails, jump lines, technical rock gardens, bermed corners – it's all here. The trail network is maintained by dedicated volunteers and is constantly expanding with new lines and features.
Best of all? It's completely free. Ride all day, come back to The Alpine for a cold beer and a hot meal, sleep in a proper bed, and do it all again tomorrow.
